Day 01: Bhubaneswar Arrival
On your arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport, our representative would take you to the hotel. Check-in to the hotel and after having some rest you will drive to full day sightseeing tour. Visit the Lingaraj Temple of Shiva, Mukteswara temple, the Rajarani temple, Parasurameswara temple and more. After having your lunch visit to Nandan Kanan Zoo and white tiger safari-Amidst the lush green Chandka forest along the banks of the Kanjia Lake lies Nandankanan, a beautiful park that got its name from Nandan Van meaning- the Garden of the Gods. Unlike conventional or regular zoos, this zoo spreads over a large expanse of undulating topography, where the natural moist deciduous forest is still intact. Most of the animals, birds and reptiles live in open, large moated areas surrounded by vegetation and the undulating terrain. The park is located 20kms from Bhubaneswar and closed on Mondays. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02: Full day sightseeing tour
After the breakfast visit to Jain Caves- Khandagiri and Udaygiri hills were carved and tunnelled, to create this multi-storied ancient apartment residence for Jain monks. They were the work of the first known Orissan ruler, King Kharavela, and probably begun in the first century BC. Kharavela was a king of the Mahameghavahana dynasty, who is known for expansion of the Kalinga Empire and his installation of public improvements, such as canal systems. His queen was evidently quite a patron of the arts, and probably had much to do with the impressive sculptural decoration of the caves. In the afternoon, visit the State Museum and Tribal Museum and Regional Science Center. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: Ratnagiri–Lalitagiri–Udayagiri
After the breakfast, depart for Ratnagiri, recently discovered by archaeologists as an ancient Buddhist center of learning dating from the early 5th century. Here we will meet with archaeologists as they excavate the ruined tomb of the Chinese pilgrim and chronicler, Huen T'sang, who visited Ratnagiri in the mid-6th century and reported that the university was home to scholars from Greece, Persia and China studying philosophy, astronomy and mathematics.
After a picnic lunch at the excavation site we will visit the local museum and meet with the curator before exploring the nearby sites of Udayagiri and Lalitagiri, where recent excavations have unearthed a huge complex of ancient brick monasteries housing exquisite rock carvings and inscriptions, priceless Buddhist sculptures and statuary, and a number of stupas. Lalitagiri is considered by some to be one of the oldest Buddhist sites in the world, dating back to the 1st century. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04: Bhubaneswar – Puri
After the breakfast, leave for Puri, en-route visit to Dhauli Pipli appliqué village and Konarak Sun Temple, Pilpi half hour drive from Hotel and one hour drive from Pipli village to Puri. Dhauli is the battleground of Kalinga war during 3rd century BC, which transformed Emperor Ashoka into Dharmashoka. Buddhist Peace Pagoda, built in 1970s, famous for Ashokan Rock Edict and the Dhabaleswar Temple. Appliqué work- The brilliant appliqué work of Pipli village is known for its folk character and vitality. Konarak- world heritage site, the temple chariot of the Sun God on the sands of Bay of Bengal is a 13th century architectural marvel. After visit proceed for Puri, on arrival and check-in and then proceed to visit Puri by the sea. Adi Shankara founded one of the peethas here. The 12th century temple is known for its annual Car Festival. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 05: Full Day Sightseeing Tour
After the breakfast, visit to Satpada – Chilka Lake. Studded with small islands- including the picturesquely-named Honeymoon Island and Breakfast Island - the lake is separated from the Bay of Bengal by a sandy ridge. Chilka is one of the best places in India for a bit of satisfying bird-watching. White bellied sea eagles, greylag geese, purple moorhen, jacana, herons and flamingos are among the many species which make the lake a bird watcher's delight. Chilka is home to one of the world's largest breeding colonies of flamingos and blackbuck, spotted deer, golden jackals and hyenas, and the lake is rich in aquatic life- its waters harbour around 160 species of fish, crustaceans and other marine creatures, including the famous Chilka dolphin. The Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve harbours India’s second largest pachyderm population, and the chances of seeing elephant herds is pretty high, especially during the dry season. Day 06: Departure from Puri
After Breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Bhubaneswar Airport to board your flight for your onward journey.
