Day 01: Assam (Dibrugarh) Arrival

On your arrival at the Dibrugarh Airport, Assam, our representative will transfer you to the Mancotta or Chowkidhinghee Heritage Tea Bungalow. In the evening, explore the near places and stay overnight in Dibrugarh.

Day 02: Dibrugarh–Digboi–Dibrugarh

After the breakfast, you will proceed to Digboi, which is about 80km and takes about 2 hours. Digboi is the first oil town of South Asia. Visit the Oil Museum and the 2nd World War Allied Forces Cemetery where 200 greaves are permanently maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. After exploring Digboi, return back to Dibrugarh for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Dibrugarh–Tinsukia

After having the breakfast you will drive to Tinsukia, which is 65km away and takes about 1.5 hours. On arrival, check in to the Limbuguri Tea Bungalow. After having some rest visit Maguri Beel on the country boat (without motor). The shallow wetland, Maguri Beel, allows you to see a number of ducks and geese, but requires slow silent approach of the boat. After having the lunch, visit the river cruise on Brahmaputra for possible chances of an encounter with river dolphin and a spectacular view of the sunset. Stay overnight in Tinsukia.

Day 04: Tinsukia–Jorhat

After the breakfast, drive to Jorhat, the 200kms journey would take around 5 hours. Check-in to the hotel. Stay overnight in Jorhat.

Day 05: Jorhat-Nimatighat-Majuli

After the breakfast, proceed to Nimatighat, 18kms to ferry ghat, and then take a public ferry to reach Majuli, takes about 1.5 hours on the ferry. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. (Accommodation would be standard to basic). Visit Sattras (Hindu monasteries). Stay overnight in Majuli.

Day 06: Majuli-Nimatighat-Jorhat

In the afternoon, take a public ferry to reach Nimatighat and then by road to Jorhat. Check-in to the hotel and stay overnight in Jorhat.

Day 07: Jorhat–Dibrugarh Airport

After having the breakfast, you will be transferred to the Dibrugarh Airport; 116km drive would take about 2.5 hours.

• All activities, sightseeing, and other optional tour/ services/rides, if left unutilized or partially utilized by choice or due to other uncontrollable situations /weather / time constraint, any other circumstances are not subject to any refund.
• Prices or rates quoted to you in the itinerary are calculated at the prevailing prices and are subject to change without any prior notice in the case of the currency fluctuation increase in the cost of fuel charges, sudden change in any related hotel tariff, air/ rail/ bus/ entry ticket cost increase or transport cost increase due to change of route, change in any related government tax structure, alteration of itinerary program or change in the number of the tour members necessitated by factors beyond our control before the date of departure or even during the tour. Whatever applicable all such increases must be paid in full before departure.
• We will require 10% and balance payment prior 45 days, before departure of the tour.

• For whatever reasons, if you want to cancel the booking, make sure to intimate us in writing. We are constrained to levy the following cancellation charges as per the company policy.

• 30 days or more prior to the departure of the holiday/ tour, taken non-refundable advance will be charged.
• Tickets bought on promotion may be 100 % non changeable and non refundable. The validity of the ticket will be restrictive.
• 30 to 15 days prior to the departure of the holiday/ tour, 50% of the package cost.
• 14 to 07 days prior to the departure of the holiday/ tour 75% of the package cost.
• 07 to 01 days prior to the departure of the holiday/ tour 100% of the package cost.
• In case of no information 100% of the package cost.

• We recommend you to confirm your flight with the local airline office at least 72 hours prior to departure. Failure to reconfirm may result in the cancellation of some reservations. For Special request (hotel confirmation, meal and seat preference, special assistance, wheel chair request) are subject to airline confirmation and need to reconfirm from agency at least 72 hours prior to the departure.

• We strongly recommend Travel Insurance. The premium is calculated on the number of days you will be away, however it is important that the policy be taken out when the booking is made, to cover any cancellation penalties that may apply from that time. If the insurance is not with us, a charge of $50 will be applicable for any paperwork requested.
